So what are the advantages or disadvantages when shooting with your quiver attached to your bow. I have never shot with mine on and make it a priority to remove it as soon get in the stand/blind. It seems like every outdoor show I watch everyone shoots with it on??!!

I don't know that there are any advantages/disadvantages. The only thing I can say is if you are going to hunt with it attached, practice with it attached.

I keep mine on basically at all times. Even if I'm indoors and they have the arrow tubes, I still typically put them in my quiver.
When I'm in stand I typically don't have any place to put my quiver so it stays on the bow.

Every once in a while, indoors, I will use the arrow tubes. I've found it doesn't make that much of a difference.

I am with you Gjacobs, I take my quiver off as soon as I get in the tree.

I usually take my quiver off, but I had an experience where the buck came in so fast there was no way of getting it off and I am made a perfect lethal shot. So I guess it doesn't seem to make a difference for me.

Bow mounted quivers are handy thats for sure, however I have never liked them. they make the bow weigh a heep, more surface area for wind to catch when shooting & just plain don't look as good as a simple uncluttered bow. I do belive accurecy is improved by removing it IMO :)
