Well I busted my TreeLimb this year and need a new quiver. Was not impressed with the treelimb so I will be looking for something new. I would like a one piece, that is easy and quick to detach. I hate shooting with a quiver on, but if I need to I need one that is smaller profile to reduce torque. Im looking at the APEX MQX and the Vortxx right now. Any suggestions? or experience with these? Thanks!
http://www.fuelthehunt.com/quiver1pc.php I was plannig on getting this quiver but it wouldn't work with my arrow rest. It is a really nice quiver and seems to be a really good system for a quick release. I've had a couple of cheaper quivers with the cheap little plastic clips and they seem to never work really good.
Octane Bantamweight, Small, light weight, one piece, easy to remove. Yes it is all of the above. http://www.bowhunting.com/shopping/Products/Octane-Bantam-Weight-Quiver__90625.aspx Here is a review I did on it. http://www.bowhunting.com/blog/post...he-most-adjustable-quivers-on-the-market.aspx
That bantam looks perfect, lightweight, strong, and versatile. Just talked the ole' lady into it for my b-day gift! c'mon march! Thanks everyone
I was going to recommend the Treelimb until I read your post. I love all of mine. Hey if you're done with yours can I have the spare mount studs? Then I can swap two of them back and forth between three bows!
I agree with these guys Octane is the way to go. I also have the one piece and have been extremely happy with it!
Not a problem, i'm not sure how useable they are, however. The quiver ran into a problem where the swivel, well, wouldn't stop swiveling lol. If your still interested feel free to PM me your info.
I'm getting the Octane Bantam Weight on my new bow. The One-Piece is a bit heavy with the magnets and while very nice is very pricey IMO for a quiver. It seems a lot of the top end quivers have gotten into the $130 price range and that is just too much cheddar for me for such a simple piece of gear. I like light weight, one-piece, easy detach, and simple for my quivers.
I have a fuse satori, it is sturdy but weighs a ton, I found myself going without a mounted quiver on my bow and using the tarantula quiver attached to my horn hunter pack most of the season and really like it.
I made a great home-made quiver out of an old enema bottle and some of that green floral-arrangement foam. It really worked out well. I'd recommend the Fleets brand, because it's the most durable.
I have been using a soft loc quiver that I really liked. Both of the rubber holder things have the screws stripped out now so it needs to be retired. I have an Octane one piece quiver that I won at a 3d shoot that I'll be using next season.... but I don't like the fact that the hood is so small that it doesn't even come close to covering my muzzy heads. I can use the foam... but it looks lame with the foam block in it.
Well I was doing some thinking today, which can be dangerous for me! lol Does having the bantam mounted on the upper half of the bow add more torque than being mounted to the sight?
My 2 favorite quivers are the Octane quivers, and the Alpine Soft loc. The Octane Bantam weight is my favorite. I now have 3 as I just bought another one last week. It's super light and all the adjustability is a Big plus for me. Dan
Glad we clarified which model of TreeLimb we were talking about. This is the one I highly recommend: http://treelimbproducts.com/proquiver/
