X2 I have to practice with mine on because elk and mulie hunting sitting in a stand is not very realistic.
i never used to, alway detached it when i got up in my stand and settled. but this year i left it on and it proved useful for a second shot i had a chance to put on a buck. didnt get him but i had the arrow nocked and ready in a matter of no time. dont think i woulda been able to do this if my quiver were resting against the tree like in yrs past.
I always leave the quiver on. I have shot with and without it and have not noticed enough difference in accuracy to warrant taking it off.
I practice with it on and off. For me it just depends on the situation or mood I'm in. In 2009 it proved helpful with it on because I shot a buck and a doe in a matter of seconds. Wouldn't have been able to do that if it were hanging in the tree.
