Do you take your quiver off when you practice? When in stand?

I feel like I need to start doing that. A new quiver is needed anyway.

Whats light and comes off silently?

a hip quiver never needs to come off your bow.

    I do. I do again.

A lot of great quivers out there have what you are looking for in weight and silent handling.

About the best one I can think of in a easily affordable price is Alpine Archery's Soft-Loc Quiver.

I always take my quiver off. I have a Truglo 5 arrow quiver on my Mathews Monster and a Delta/Bear 7 arrow quiver for my Pittsley Predator also I use back and hip quivers.

I do take it off for practice and in the stand. I use the Ultralite series. It's got a great hanger on it. it hangs from an EZ hanger perfectly.

I use the Bohning Lynx and like it just fine. If you check out the Bohning website, there's a few different quivers to order from and there's probably 15 different camo patterns to choose from (including MO Infinity!) if you want to pay a few dollars more to get that certain pattern.

I detach when I hunt but I practice both ways just incase I ever need to shoot with my quiver on, not that it makes that huge of a difference.

The last two seasons I left my quiver on the bow while practicing and hunting. It is a "bow quiver" at the risk of sounding snotty might as well get a back or hip quiver if your not going to keep it on your bow

I keep mine on my bow it has silencers on it so I don't worry about it. I could have got one that comes off. I have used them before. I see no ned to take them off

A bow quiver just makes it easier to transport your arrows. It's individual if you shoot with it on or off.

I have the Arrow Web two piece fixed position quiver from Mathews. I did think it was heavy, and that it negatively affected my shooting at one time, until I took it off and realized how light it really is. It was the classic case of "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Aside from that the quiver is great, it fits broadheads of all shapes and sizes and is very compact with the bow. I am comfortable shooting with it on simply because it doesn't come off.

I take my quiver off when hunting, therefore most of my practice is with the quiver off. I do however practice a little with it on in case I am in a situation when hunting that warrants the quiver to stay on the bow. So my advice is focus most of your practice on the way you plan to hunt.

I shoot some with the quiver full and some without the quiver. It helps because you never know whats going to happen so it better to know how it shoots with it on.

I take my quiver off for practice & hunting.

For elk hunting I do practice some with it on because that's a different ball game and you aren't always able to ditch the quiver when things happen.

2 Piece Octane Quiver never comes off my bow, whether practice, in field, on stand, 3d shoot, always on.
