    Quiver off while whitetail hunting.

My arrows are still at the ready... I invented this nifty little screw-in arrow caddy my first year of bowhunting that allowed me to clip my quiver to a device which I in turn screwed into the tree and held it at the ready right beside me at waist height...

Problem is, this company called Kwikee had thought of the same thing unbeknownst to me and already brought it to market. :(

While out west elk hunting, I try my darndest to have time to take my quiver off.... but I do practice occasionally with it on to ready myself in case there's a time where I don't have a chance.

I made this one out of some old scrap parts I had laying around. Center section is 1/8" aluminum drilled and bent to my liking. Wear it on my hip when I'm trying to slip up on one, or keep it on my bow walking to or while in the stand.

    Quiver comes off to shoot.
But I do practice some before going out west with it on, just in case. I have found no differences.

I've always left it on. I bought a Mathews quiver when I purchased my Switchback, and it works for me.

I did shoot 3D over the summer, and took it off. However when it comes to hunting, it will be back on. Just the way I have always done it.

Detached for me. It allows more room for manuvering the Bow when having to switch positions for a shot, less visability for the Deers point of view since I use alot of White on my arrows (wraps, vanes and Knocks) and when im in a climber it dont set good in the holder with quiver attached.

For years I've hunted with it on, but I feel I'm going to take mine off this season for more mobility, and lessening the chance of something else hitting something like my stand or a piece of clothing at the moment of truth.
