Has anyone tried this rest yet ?? I am going to replace my rip-cord drop away rest as it can be a pain with the conditions I hunt in. You really have to keep an eye on in cold weather. I always have to take it all apart during hunting season when the weather gets cold. Moisture gets in it probably due to all the ground hunting I do in wet grass/cattails... hunting in drizzle and when it snowing. I start out hunting in 80 degree weather and usually finish the year hunting in 10 - 20 below weather. It has been a pretty good rest but hoping to find something better. I need a tough dependable rest. I would really like to get away from tieing into my buss cable. This Quiktune Freedom rest looks good. Looking to find out the good and bad in it before buying.
