Back about 15 yrs ago, there used to be this thing called Moleskin, made by Kolpin. It was widely available. Now I can't find it. What happened to it??? What do you guys do now to silence the arrow shelf on a bow?

Walmart has some camo cloth in the archery section that sticks to your bow. I use that since I cant ever find moleskin.

I see he also has camo felt. Email Jerry, he can tell you which sticks better.

If you don't mind, what is the purpose of using moleskin? I've seen it on bows before but I've never used it or had the need for it as far as I know.

It's quiet If your arrow would bump against where It's on. I use this stuff all the time. Speaking of which I need some as I'm out. I can't remember where I used to get It but I know It's not as easy to find as It used to be.

Thanks for the help, but I was looking for the stuff for hunting, not the skin colored stuff for feet.

Apply skin-colored moleskin. Apply camo cloth tape over said moleskin. Problem solved.

Even when covered with cloth tape the moleskin should still retain it's sound deadening properties.
