Bowtech's Admiral is the quietest bow I've ever seen/heard/shot personally. I've seen the whisper creek's, and they aren't even close.

I have a Bowtech General that is QUIET, quieter than either of the Matthews that I have. I even saw a review that said it was the quietest they (outdoor life or field and stream) had tested.

This is a good post because I think that part of a bows specs should list the Decibels of the bow when shot. I think my PSE Mach X is quiet but I would love to see one of the magazines test all the top bows set at the same poundage and shooting the same weight arrow and see what the ratings are.

You cant really list the decibles of a bow, because that will change when you add things and remove things.

My PSE Brute is really quiet, but I don't know how it compares to other bows. My buddy I hunt with has a Hoyt Trykon, and I'd say that they're about the same.

The quietest bow I haven't heard is a Kodiak. They're making a new hybrid cam bow that shoots pretty fast too. IBO 325. Anyone seen Hoyt's new 09 bow, looks a little like a Guardian. I'm thinkin I may need to try one! My Hoyts have been pretty quiet and smooth drawing. If I hear something usually somethin got loose! lp
