my grandpa had this same problem on his easton axis. First time I've seen it so I thought he didn't do it right. Did you clean the shafts before?

yes I cleaned the shafts with alcohol Then I let the alcohol dry then put the quickfletch on. This shaft has lasted since september.
I'm thinking about going back to fletching.

make sure the water is boiling good put the arrow in for 20 seconds i know it says 10 but if you leve it in for 20 it seems to glue better this is what i was told by someone from nap i have been doing it and it works better

I ease the shaft in the water so it will shrink as it goes in. This prevents the air pockets from forming that show up when shrinking it all at once. As far as time goes, I leave it in until the bubbles stop coming out. I use water from our instant hot water dispenser. (around 190 degrees)

This is what I do also. However, prior to sliding the QF over the arrow shaft I clean it with Dawn Dishwater Detergent, and then 'rough' it up a bit with a 3M pad in a couple of places. I then heat cold water up in the microwave until it is boiling, then do the above. Since preparing my arrow shafts this way I have not had any problems with QF. It may be above what is necessary, but I've been known to possess a little bit of obsessive behavior.

This was an issue last year with the twisters. They had a bad run of them that did not have enough and some barely had any glue on them. I had a dozen and most all of them did it within a little while.

Call NAP and let them know what happened. They will make it right. I promise they will.

Either you have a wrap underneath them or you didn't have hot enough water. We're they a new pack or did you have them already opened before?

I would imagine there will be a few floating around that will show up here and there.

I haven't heard of any issues in almost a year now. I had I think 3 maybe 4 bad packs of them. They replaced them. I used quite a few more before I went back with Blazers.

I bought them back in september before deer season started. They are the quickfletch twisters. No offense to anyone but I'm gonna go back to fletching them with a jig
