Hey guys I have a quick question. I ment to get Magnus Stinger 2 blade 125 grain broadheads, because of a light poundage. But, I ended up getting the 4 blade version, which is the two blade and 2 bleeder blades. So my question is will the four blades work or should i save up again and get the 2 blade?

Can you remove the bleeder blades?

I'm trying to think about it from work here. But I think you need to have those bleeders in there the way the head is made. But I can't fully picture it.

That is the BH I use. If that doesn't work for you to remove the bleeders, I maybe would be interested in buying them from you if you want to change to just the two blade. Let me know if you decide to sell them.

Quite honestly, those bleeder blades don't add that much resistance especially considering it's a COC head. What poundage are you shooting?

Yeah, you probably should eliminate the bleeder blades by either taking them out if that works or getting just the 2 blade.

40 lbs is plenty. Use the bleeder blades.

Do you think takin the bleeders out will affect the flight?

It shouldn't affect flight out of a well-tuned bow. But seriously, use the bleeder blades.

I would trust what Christine says being she shoots in the same poundage range.

But to answer your question. I'm still trying to picture it as I don't have a head right in front of me, but I don't know if the head will get tight without the bleeder blades in there due to the extra locking plate on the 4 blade head. I don't think taking out the bleeder blades will affect flight if the head is tight and the two main blades sit the same.

You may just want to call Magunus and ask them as they are usually pretty responsive. But seriously if Christine says to do it then I would. She has a lot of experience with COC heads and lower poundage bows.
