Varies from state to state as far as regulations but I would assume you would. (In PA you would) Buckeye hunters can chime in but better yet, check your regs. ;)

Even if it's not a law to wear it I would probably do it anyways just to be safe. IL requires you to wear orange during the youth season. What I did was I wore the orange in and out of the stand, but while I was sitting I took it off and laid it at the foot of my deer stand under some leaves.

Orange means nothing to deer if it's broken up. Solid BO could stand out, could but if you break it up, you good.

I'm wearing a BO vest (break up) in this photo.

I just don't wear the orange while I'm sitting in stand in one of my locations because it's near a highway and when the leaves fall off people can see me very easily if I'm wearing my blaze orange, and I don't want people to know where I'm hunting.

You need to check your regs. I know in some states it has to be a solid orange. You may even need a certain amount of orange. Here in IN you only need a cap that is mostly solid orange. They dont make a fuss about logos on hats

PA is 250 sq in of BO on the head, chest and back combined. The picture I show above qualifies.
