So Pittsburg challenged the first down spot that Baltimore had, it was taken back to 3rd and less than a yard, great. But he went out of bounds with 13 sec on the clock... but when they reseted the play the clock ran down to the end of the third quarter... If he went out of bounds, why was the clock still running?

Even after the original called first down play was over, they still had 11 seconds on the clock.... but then the 3rd quarter was over, with the ball out of bounds, and 11 seconds on the clock...

I feel like an idiot, but what am I missing here?
