Yeah, I love the black & green Here's a link: New Archery Products - QUIKFLETCH 2" QUIKSPIN W,G,G- BLACK TUBE (6 PACK)
I had quickspins before I bought the quick fletch blazer vanes. I think I shot them for 2 months or so and had at least one fall off of each arrow (10 arrows). I personally wouldn't recommend quickspins to anyone. They were not quick fletch though.
I use the quickfletch twister vanes and a whisker biscuit. They shoot fine for me. They seem to fly very well out of my rig, I love them.
So I guess I didn't dip them in the water slow enough and have a few bubbles on 3 arrows. Should I order more and redo them? If the impact on performance is minimal that is fine as the arrows I'm using now are only for practice and the odd competition here and there.
I have a couple of bubbles in a couple of my practice arrows and i honestly don't see a difference in how they perform. If your just using them for practice I think you should be fine.
I just started using them. I think they shoot great and are very durable. The price = about $3 an arrow. If you have your arrow fletched at a pro shop...it's about a wash. I'm sticking with the Quick Fletch!
i like these better then glue on vanes. They are more durable, fly just as good (if not better) and give extra visibility of a wrap. plus they are very easy to install. i have these on my practice arrows and they get bet up pretty bad but have yet to tear.
The twister doesn't have the little tab on each vane to help the arrow spin up quicker. I think the twisters may just be offset.
Pros: Consistent (mass produced, always the same) Easy (Dip in boiliing water, if you can't figure it out, good luck in life) Cons: Expensive (cannot replace just a vane, have to replace the entire thing) Heavy (3 blazers: 18 grains, 1 Quickfletch: 28 grains, and it's weight in the back, not where it should be in the front) I go back and fourth, using them and not. They are a good product, but like all, they have pros and cons. It's all about if the pros outweigh the cons at the time.
I started shooting these two years ago and will not go back to old ways. Saves time, energy and shoot just as good as vanes or feathers. They are easy to strip from an arrow also. Worth the money.
I had a quick question. The fact that the quick fletch weigh slightly more then your standard glue on fletch, would that change the way the shoot at all. I was thinking about buying the quickfletch to have on hand for repairing arrows instead of taking them to the bow shop. But don't want to have arrows that fly differently.
Ive shot arrows that I fletched and then when they got messed up I quick fletched them and they flew basically the same. I dont think youll have to worry about it to much.
Make sure to look at the difference between quick spin vs the twister models. I use the quick spin since when I used to fleth my arrows before i found quickfletches I had a generous helix. The quick spins rotate a bit more than the twisters so I didn't notice much of a change. May slow the arrow a tad but helps with arrow control. I actually haven't tried the twisters so not sure if I would know the difference but I love the quick spins.
