I found them to be easy to use and very durable. They seemed to fly as well as my glued on vanes. Worth having on hand for emergency repairs.
Thought this might be the case, but for someone like me avoiding as much DIY as possible is a good thing.
I tried them for the first time this year and I love them. Just make sure the water is boiling and that you leave them in there long enough. The first couple I did slipped forward when target shooting.
I've used them for 2 years now and I think they're the best thing since peanutbutter and jelly! Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Have quick fletch blazer vanes that I put on last spring and absolutely love them! Just recommended a friend to them and he bought a pack yesterday as well. I would recommend them to anyone.
Good idea. I got the quick spin in orange, and they are ridiculously awesome. I got mine from cabelas for 19.99 with free shipping. Recommend them to everyone bowhunting. Make sure to put them in very slowly so bubbles don't get trapped. And while doing that, spin them very slowly too. Have very hot boiling water. Take a dish scrubby(green and yellow) and brush around the area you are applying the quickfletch so you have a smooth surface. Hope you enjoy them.
True, but like a lot of people, you're forgetting that you're paying for convenience with the Quickfletch. You don't need to buy a fletching jig, glue or that scraper tool to remove old glue etc. You can fletch a dozen arrows in as much time as it takes to boil a pot of water and dip each one and then go right out and shoot them. The product is aimed towards people who don't want to invest money in tools they may only use a few times but still want to buy shafts and fletch them or simply repair shafts with damaged fletching. I personally like the way the Quickfletch looks over regular blazer vanes. I like that the shrink tube part aids in tracking the arrow flight and recovery. I've had no problems with both the NAP Quickspin and the Bohning Blazer shrink fletch. The difference between the NAP and Bohning is that Bohning uses real Blazer brand vanes and NAP uses their own version of the Blazer. It's slightly offset and has a little tab on one side of the vane to get the arrow to start spinning quicker which is supposed to help with accuracy. NAP also makes a cheaper version called the "Twister" which has slightly offset vanes but no tab on one side.
I live pretty close to the Bohning headquarters here in Michigan. Blazer vanes are amazing too, but I went with Quickspin
I absolutely love them. It saves me a lot of time, and like anybody else likes, they are easy to put on. Found them to be durable and fly very well.
I started using them last season since i had about 12 arrows i shot the flecthing off of. The nearest shop i found that would re-flect arrows is almost a hour away from me and the local basspro(doesnt fletch arrows) had them for 16.99 at the time i bought enough to do all 24 of my arrows and i absolutley love them quick, easy, and super convient I recommend them to all my friends!
Those are the ones I ordered, should get them today or tomorrow. Just in time for my league shoot tomorrow. Do any of ya'll have experience using these with a Whisker Biscuit?
