How old do you think this buck is? This is an Ontario buck I have pictures of him for 2012 when he was 6 pointer, do you he's a three year old in these pictures?

From that angle it would be a guess at best. Without seeing the belly and brisket/neck from a better angle the only thing to go off of is a partial of the rack which isn't exactly a sure aging method. If he was a 6 pt in 2012 then I would have to imagine he's a 3.5 in those.

 

What he said. I need different pics at different angles to make a good estimation.

How can you tell its the same buck??

 

Looks like a 2.5 to me, but it's not much to go off of.

 

I know he's the same buck because every year he does the same thing, comes in for late season and makes a scrap line and hang around on my property for the last 3 weeks after the gun season. Also I've watched him grow up and his rack style is the same just grew a few points last year.
