So early season in Alabama is not exactly a cool season. I have Scent Lok Savanna Vigilante top and bottoms but even those are a bit much when it's still freakin hot here. Half the time I just wear the pants and use my UA scent block compression top. Anyone have any recommendations for a good lightweight set of camo?

I wear a leafy suit as long as I can. Early season ill wear the suit, athletic shorts, and under heat gear under top. When it gets border line ill throw on the thermals underneath.

I'll have to shop around and find a good one. That would probably work wonders here!

I do the same. They're great because you can where whatever you want underneath to match the temperatures. I'll lose the leafy suit mid to late October or so in MN.

I'm in Alabama also and I usually wear a regular athletic type camo shirt. Big thing I do is change my shirt and sometimes pants after I'm done walking or in the tree. I'll take a wet rag that I put in the freezer overnight and wipe down then put the dirty clothes in a ziplock an put clean stuff on. Good luck, and let me know if you want to hunt together.

KUIU has a light weight Tiburon pant and top that I'm using here in FL. Works really well.

Yup AUBowhunter, this Alabama early season heat does leave me drenched by the time I'm in and up in the tree. Luckily this year I'll probably be spending most of my time hunting my buddy's small acreage so I won't have a long walk to the stand at all and it will be left hanging there.

First Lite also makes some awesome warm / hot weather cloths but you will need deep pockets. :)
