    Greg:

That would make you the best Botwech Staffer I've shot with. Since I've only shot with Rob/PA and Matt Mickey.....I suppose you're the better archer.

Congrats. I hope to see shooting like that one day.

It really has nothing to do with being a great shot... just patience and the willingness to put some time in tuning one's bow.

I'd bet there are MANY people who can get their broadheads to group with their field points at 50 yards...

As far as BowTech staffers... this pic was from Frank Smith last year sent to us as he was preparing for his muley hunt. This is a collection of BHs and FPs in one grouping from 50 yards.

Heck, I'm not even saying I can shoot as good as that... but I can get my BHs to hit where my FPs do at 50 yards -- as COUNTLESS people can in the archery world. Like I said, it's nothing special.

when i was shooting alot and still rockin my old high country, i was putting all my arrows in the same 4" circle at 50 yards with muzzys.or my field points. Once things are dialed in right, they should shoot exactly the same as one another. start at 20 yards, dial em in. step out a bit farther till you start seeing discrepancy, make an adjustment, get it back on track and keep going. its not science, just patience that most guys dont have.

Same 4" circle with field points alone @ 50 yds will win you most any 3D tournament in the US.

Like I said....that's great ya'll can do that. I've just not witnessed anyone shoot that well. I've shot with a lot of guys.....and young Matt/TN is the best I've seen sling an arrow. And from 50yds????

    Like I said....good shootin' guys.

Here is my "group" from 23 yards with a recurve, from around 16 feet elevation. This will NOT be a distance I will shoot from this year...bring it down about 5 yards or so.

This is pretty much what I was going to suggest. 1/16" at a time. Play with the rest first, then fine tune the sights. That's how I do it at least. Paper and bareshaft tuning bore me just because I prefer actually shooting stuff. Like has been said, you're ahead of 90% (or at least 80%) of bowhunters. Most I know just readjust their sights for broadheads before hunting season.....and then adjust them back for field points after season ends. Rock on.

For a recurve that's a good group....excapt for that one shot in the lower corner. Beats my standards. There's a reason I went back to compound shooting.
