^^^ What he said!!! My favorite Bible verse! John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. In my home: ''Jesus is the reason for the season''!!!
That's good brother, I don't like religion or labels either. Personally, the Bible is the Living Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit. More that "A Book". Of course that is just me and how I am. The confusion and labeling are when Gods Word gets placed out of context due to mans sinful nature. That is never going to change. I would not want to push or condemn anyone that has a different view than I have about Christ. Not everyone will and this is known. I know where I stand and where I am going, and exactly what I will be taking with me. ... Find your way, .. That is all you or anyone can do. Hopefully it is the right one.
i just think there are far too many different denominations in Christianity. no religion is greater than another. if your choice leads you to do good things and be compassionate towards others, then i think you are are on the right path.
View attachment 41452 View attachment 41453 View attachment 41454 Brother, last year in the field several miles deep I came across this: (will attach photo) while hunting Muleys and praying for my Buck. This year I took a two wheel drive truck 22 miles deep in the backcountry well past the 4X4 only signs, was in deer all five days, and was able to crawl in and out of there ONLY to realize I forgot to put the SPARE TIRE on before I went...... That is not even a fraction of what I have known over the years. Keep the Faith.
I 100% agree with this, there is way to many "versions of" for the unread to even know which end is up. It is a pickle for sure.
Thanks for the pictures! Wow! 22 miles in the back-country in a 2-WD and without a spare tire! . . The good Lord was with you all the way!!! I Pray too every year for a Buck! . . . I said a Prayer in the morning on 11-15 this year and killed a nice 10-point Buck in the afternoon! I love to be in the mountains and Pray! Thanks for sharing!!!
Its definitly not anyones job to judge but it is our job as a christian to spread our light to everyone. Im pentacostal holiness of anyone knows what that is we believe in living the bible. If it says to do something we do it and people think we try to act like were better then everyone but if the bible says it thats what im gonna do. Christmas is the birth of Jesus and i agree with alot of people on here to alpt of people its just another day. But if you was to remember on that day Jesus was born and saved the world that we could go to Heaven. Thats why i celebrate it cu God thought so much of us to send his own son from a perfect sinnless heaven to be crucified on a earth just for us. And fpr those who domt beleive in God then how did we get here did we just pop up and then why is all the stuff im the bible happeming. I didmt write this to call anyone out but if i can backup my beliefs and do it for God then im goin to
Thanks man i just know the Lords done so much for me i gotta tell people abt all the good stuff hes done for me cuz i could be homeless with no family but hes given me a awsome wife and family, a roof over my head and shoes on my feet seems like everyone calls on the Lord when they need help but never call on him just to thank him. All the little things need to be thanked for too. The Lord blesses people more then what they think even the ones who domt belive in him. But he said once in everyones life they will hear abt him its there choice to except him or not and the Lord will still be with you if you want him too
I stopped celebrating it many years ago once I learned this. Christians adopted Christmas and wrapped Jesus around it. Jeremiah 10:2-5 tells us NOT to do as the heathen nations that cut a tree down, bring it inside, decorate it with silver and gold and so on. Yet, people have adopted this custom nonetheless. Yet, many say it is the birthday of the Messiah they are celebrating yet they spend tons of money on gifts for each other. If it is the Messiah's birthday, shouldn't he get the biggest/most expensive gift of all? Yes, the gist giving supposed came from the Wisemen giving gifts to the Messiah, but they came to Joseph and Mary's house sometime later, not to the manger.(Matthews 2:11) The sheperds went and saw Jesus in the manger, (Luke 2:15) not the Wisemen. Do and celebrate what you want. I wish people a Merry Christmas and Good Year nonetheless. Just because I don't celebrate it, I still want people to be safe and have a goodtime with family and friends.
I don't think this one could have been man made...not where it was or how it was. I was meant to find it at that particular time and it was in country surrounded by similar bed rock everywhere. .... made me stop and think.
