    Tony I am not talking about a chlorinator, but to actually put chlorine down the well then run the water to each faucet until you can smell the chlorine and let it sit for a day or two to kill all of the iron bacteria.

    Done that...it comes back ... and I have the UV light .....

    I know it can come back that way, but it is the cheapest way to try and get rid of the problem.
