As a left hand bow hunter (or wrong hand as I have been called many times) I find it very hard to go into a shop and find left handed bows I can try out. I would like to buy a new bow but don't just want to order one of the internet. Does anyone have any advice for me or know shop that have a variety left handed bows? Have you ever asked your local shop to get a bow that you would like to try, but not necessarily buy? Let me you what you think or do as a left hand bow hunter to test and purchase the right bow for you. I have been looking at the PSE Stinger 3g but that is only because I have a PSE Deer Hunter and used my brother in law PSE Nova last year to hunt.
Its hard I know I am left handed. But you can shoot right handed to get a feel for a bow too ya know. Most of the bows I have shot are right handed but I buy and hunt with a left handed model.
I have the PSE Stinger 3G and yes I am left handed. Love the bow, but like you I had no luck finding it in left hand at the dealer I go to. But like Slugger said I did try it right handed and I loved the bow. Then of course when i bought the bow it was in left hand. Good luck finding your bow!. GROMMEL.
i just sold my PSE deer hunter, and my girlfriends cousin who is new to hunting just bought a 3G and i shot it a few times and it feels great, I'm sure you'll love the upgrade from the deer hunter! good luck!
Heck, I've been to the ATA shows and still couldn't find lefty bows to try out. (being a short DL and low poundage shooter exacerbates the problem)
just thought I'd hop in for some more lefty representation!!! best advice was already given I think though!!
from what I can tell it seem like we're out of luck finding them in the shops so I better start practicing right handed. Sounds like I can get a feel for a bow by shooting it right handed so I think I will give that a try.
