Question for the beer snobs

Do you keep any "visitor" beer in your fridge? And if so what kind?

Or do you offer up your precious stash to someone who may or may not like it?

 

My visitors beer is stuff I didn't like. Currently, thats a few cans of Strohs, Miller Lite, Bud Select and some Leiny bottles.

 

Most of my friends are either fellow beer snobs, or know that they need to bring their own beer to my house.

 

I dont offer beer that i wouldnt drink to people.

 

I'll be right over.

 

Ill pick it up then since im closer, then im heading home (northern IL) and ill bring you some on my way you just got to meet me at the state line.

 

There's probably a few cans of Beast Light and Busch Light in there as well. Knock yourself out

Wait... what is a beer snob doing buying up cheap beer in the first place?

 

Most of those are beers that my friends have left in the fridge. I usually drink Blue Moon or Sam Adams, so I'm not really a beer snob

 

I like your friends! Mine never leave any beer at my house, wait they never even bring beer to my house they always drink all mine.

As long as you're as bum at their place and drink their beer its okay.

 

My wife will buy a 6 pack of some light beer, drink one and the rest ends up taking up space until either someone else drinks them or I pour them out.

I give them some beer that's to lite for me. Heineken or something left over from past party's for the masses.

Actually it works out great. Friends now know to bring their own beer because they can't handle mine.

I keep some light beer on hand for people who don't like real beer

 

I keep a case of Yeungling at all times.

That reminds me I gotta make a trip back home to grab a few cases.

 

Most of my friends either drink the good stuff, or homebrew. When I am at their houses I drink their homebrews or good beer (and my wife drinks good beer, while most of theirs drink wine or crap, fruity beers), so it only seems right that I serve up the good beer at my place. I do keep some Michelob Ultra around, just because that is my father-in-law's beer of choice.
