I have a couple of Stealth G42NG cameras. I like them very much, but here is the situation I can't figure out. If I use a 1GB chip the camera works on still pictures and movie mode. I bought a couple of 16GB chips and they only work on still pictures not on movie mode. Problem is you can't find 1GB chips any more. I send an e-mail to Stealth and told them what I'm telling you, but received no response. They may make a good camera, but their customer service sucks. You guys have any ideas why this is so? Thanks. Boxcarman

I have two G42NGs. Make sure the 16GB chips are class 10., Some of the lower class SD cards (USB chips) aren't fast enough to record the video that is being captured.

Also, try out lithium AA batteries if you're recording video. Video eats up regular batteries pretty quickly. The lithium ones last a much longer time. They're expensive, but worth it if they're in your budget.

Always class 10s otherwise problems can ensue for sure.

Yep, Class 10 or above will be necessary for video because it has faster write speeds. If you have a class 10 or above 16gb card, you might try formatting it in the camera. It's possible it was formatted in an incompatible format.
