I would say March for your local. WHere ever the deer are feeding is a great place to start then work your way back towards there bedding areas scouring trails.

They can show up just about any where. The best spots around here are where they herded up for the cold spell. These areas are easy to find because the ground is tore up and trampled. I also find alot in the water ways in the fields. Fence lines are good, look for spots where they jump the fence.

^^^^ This always works...or find a spot where they are jumping across a creek. FInd out where they are entering the woods from a feeding area and start there.....

Food sources, heavily used trails, logging trails and anywhere where deer have to cross or jump over obstacles will help knock that antler off. Snow is always good on the ground to see fresh sign. good luck!
