I want the HD version. Can I shoot my 24.25" short arrows from this rest? I shoot from the QAD Hunter rest now with these arrows. should there be any difference? On the site it says that the LD and the Hunter allow for arrows to be shot up 4 inches shorter than any other rest but it doesn't say that for the HD version....If I go with the LD, is there any difference in the way it tunes compared to the HD?? Same thing?

A local shop here has finally started stocking them and he is suppose to call me as soon as the shipment gets in...I am getting the HD as well. I thought the only difference was that the LD and HD models stayed "locked down" after the shot preventing "bounce back" or "bounce up" but I could be very wrong...as I said, I am waiting for the phone call any day now to go get mine. The guy told me that he would have to modify mine a little so it will work and I'm going to check this out with a couple of guys on here just to see if his suggestion is ok. Good luck.

speaking of the qad, i've heard of some folks having fletch clearance problems if you're using blazers... when using the qad, which direction do you want the cock vane??

edit - love the automatic replacement of rooster for c@ck...

It depends. If your using the TL launcher, you should be able to do cock vane down, if your using the regular, cock vane up or slight twisted CW.

Personally I didn't see a difference cock up or down. But watching me shoot, my shop owner said it flew better cock vane down. I dunno what he saw that I didn't but he sees things many don't! I shoot cock vane down now, even though I still don't see any difference in flight or accuracy.

I also shoot with the cock vane down using blazers with no problems. When I shot cock vane out I had contact issues on my HD.

You are correct as I had all kinds of issues with the hunter model on my Limbsaver DZ32.
