Hey y'all I just got my first hunting bow in January and I've slowly been getting all the gear I want on it. I want to get custom strings but have no idea how to go about it. Is there an article I can read that explains the types of strings and all that? I don't really have a shop I can go do that deals with custom strings near where I live either. Thanks!
I would PM Hutch~n~Son Archery on here....He is a Custom string builder and builds a LOT of strings for any bow make or model. I have them on both my bows. He makes the best strings I have ever used and stands behind his work. His website is Bowstring Depot.com, you can check that out as well. He uses BCY Trophy material which IMO, is the best out there. He can make any color you want. I think the link to his site is in my signature as well.
Your welcome! His Customer service is top notch as well. I have ordered 5-6 sets from him I think. I like to change colors sometimes...lol. I can't stress how happy I am and how well they are made. My hunting buddy put a set on his Mathews Heli-m this year too....His bow shot ten times better! Let us know what you get and post some pics. Just some FYI, those speckled colors from BCY are awesome. My last set I got Red with Black specs and Flo Green with Black specs and it looks awesome.

Just got the internet and phone back. Didn't think we would get it back so soon! Rough storm. High wind gusts and lots of trees down. Yuck!! They even closed my road down at both ends. Hutch
