I took this bow in on trade. I own an Archery range but have only been shooting for about a year now an dam not familiar with some bows. The riser and limbs look the same as the ones sold now but the cams are big cams and the cable system is a lot different. It doesn't use the tear drop type cables either. I am going to try to post a pic. I am new here. I am a member of another forum but, I was looking for one like this that is geared more for bowhunting. Anyways, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You gots yourself a good old bow there. They were sold in the late 70's or early 80's I believe. I still have a Magnum Hunter along with a Whitetail II. These haven't been made in years. The reason the cables look different is because they are truly cables. Steel cable coated in plastic. Almost impossible to come out of time. The string is about the only thing that will stretch on them. Good bows in their day and still kill animals today.

Im not so sure it is that old. PSE still makes this bow but with different cams. I am no expert but this whole big cam thing didn't come out till the mid 90's when Mathews started making their Solo cams and if I am not mistaken, dual big cams came even later. This thing is way faster than my old Bear that I know was made in 1991. I think I am going to just contact PSE and give them the SN# and find out when it was produced.

xxForce Tenxx, This helped a little, I now know it could not be older than a 2003 model. They did make the same bow before then but, it was called the Team Fitz. That one was not produced before 2000. So, Mysticflight, as I thought you were way off. Thanks for the shot in the dark there buddy. Just kidding. Anyways, I still have to call PSE with the SN#. There are no Deer Hunter Models on the PSE sight that have 70lb limbs or dual bog cams like this one. They all, all the way up to the 2011 model have the Tear Drop type strings too not the, I think it is called a bus cable system. It's the more modern cable system. Thanks for your help guys. I will post what I find out about this what I am beginning to think is either a modified or rare bow.

My goal is to find some IBO specs and other info on this thing.

Sorry for the mis-information. I had Bear Whitetail Hunter in my head for some reason.
