Hey guys, new to the scene...I had a question about a magyar horse bow or any horse bow in general...are these intended for hunt? Also, how much of a disadvantage am I putting myself in by using one as opposed to something else?

I heard they're extremely accurate, as they're made for hitting a target on horseback.

Has anyone ever tried them for hunt?

    Thanks.

If you can shoot it accurately and get the right amount of kinetic energy there are no disadvantages. As with traditional setups your range is slightly shorter than a modern compound setup. But at the end of the day what really matters is if you can shoot it and it has enough power to push an arrow through an animal.
