Ok so at my house I have about 1.10 acres that join about 30ish which is my neighbors property ( total of 75 acres or more) which he gave me permission to bow hunt on about 3 weeks ago. Since then I have picked out 3 trees that I will be using my climber in. My question is this, out of all the property there isn't any corn field or food source or water that I know of, I did noticed a lot of bedding areas in the general area of where I am hunting but food sources I don't see, there are wild apple trees but all the fruit is gone. I set up off a trail and off the field, now how would I hunt this early on when there is no food around? I know there is a lot of deer cause they eat all my apples off my trees in my back yard. The area I am hunting is mostly frontage that is about 700 feet from the road, you can tell with all the deer trails they cross the road and come into the property. The other side of the road is in question I really have never been over there since there's a couple houses. Any advice would be great, this property has never been hunted either.

Acorns are king early season. Find the oaks if there are any. The fruit trees are good also.

no baiting is illegal in NYS, I am not about that type of hunting either, I am thinking this spot will be good in the afternoon when there coming to bed, It's hard to tell I know theres tons of deer though..

As stated before acorns are a big factor. Are there any fields anywhere near you? If not the deer are keying in on the natural vegetation that is growing in the woods. Deer are browsers not grazers, so about 80% of their diet is forbes, leaves, nuts anything of that nature.

If you have obvious trails... hunt them. As has been stated... deer are grazers... and will eat almost anything green. Especially vines such as greenbriar or honeysuckle. Learn to identify the various plants along the trail and look closely for the end of limbs where leaves have been nibbled off. Bottom line, fields make it easier for us to hunt... but a deer doesn't need us to survive.
