I've heard that once you shoot a buck but you get a bad shot and it still lives that the buck won't grow any bigger then what it was because you wounded it. Is this right? Because I've watched actual hunting shows where they've had a bad shot and then talk about the next year hunting and it being even bigger. Lol idk just something I was thinking about.

Wounding a deer isn't good but if the deer lives it's antlers will not be stunted by the injury

It can affect one side of the rack. Say if the buck was shot in the back left leg the right half of his rack could be messed up the next year

I would like to see proof of this.

I think it's totally case by case. Anyone that says there's a predictable outcome is being silly. It can go either way, I think generally it's going to have a more negative impact on antler growth. I've heard stories of ranchers finding fawns while working hay in the early summer and cutting them to make the racks do funky stuff and it's well known that injuries often do effect antler development. Predicting what the specific outcome would be though is just wonky.

Talk about unethical... That would make me soo angry if a farmer told me that he did that to a fawn...
