I just bought a new matthews Z7 about 2 weeks ago an have about 200 shots through it. my question is when I draw back my arrow wants to move to the right and comes off my rest. why? I am pulling 70 pounds with a D loop and I have not got it tuned in yet since I broken it in. any suggests thanks scott

You're probably torquing just a bit as you draw. This is part of why a lot of guys like a capture rest like a Whisker Biscuit or Hostage Pro... For me personally, when I get tired, I can tend to do this a little, but not too often most of the time, I also shoot an arrow that is 1/2" longer than my DL because it spines better, and keeps that BH away from my hand and riser....

Make sure your dloop is not pinching your arrow nock at full draw. This will cause the arrow to be lifted up or over when you draw.

I would also make sure everything is square and properly installed. I had a similar problem only to have another shop go through and find that my rest was to far left of square.

The D loop was my first thought. Tie it in so that it can't slide up tight under the arrow. Greg/MO has a good post somewhere on how to properly serve in a D loop.
