Well, so much for the PSE Brute X I was planning to get. I shot a few more bows the other day and the PSE Brute X is no longer in the picture. I shot the Diamond Fugitive and was absolutely giddy!! I checked out Diamond's website and they no longer have the Fugitive listed but they do list the Outlaw. Whats the difference between these two bows? They're in the same price range (depending where ya go, its the exact same price). TIA.

Fugitive has a shorter brace height and I believe is 3fps faster, that is the only difference I think. Take it with a grain of salt because that's just what I remember reading. I have the outlaw 2012 and my brother, I bought him the brute x 2013 for Christmas. I love my outlaw and I really like his bow. I wasn't a fan of the grip and to me it felt a little heavy in my hand. Both bows you could really take a deer with and not have to worry about a thing. Pick what feels comfortable.

Well, i'm gonna go ahead and complicate things even further. I'm gonna try to get my hands on a Diamond Dead Eye this weekend to see if I like that. From what I've seen, it's a hair heavier at 4 pounds but I'm a bigger guy so that really shouldn't make a whole lot of difference. We'll just see if I like it enough to justify spending an extra hundred dollars.

The Dead Eye was really a sleeper bow, I have one in my line up and love it... 343FPS single cam, dead in the hand and ultra quiet... I was surprised it was no longer in the Diamond line up, the Outlaw and Fugitive are very similar and if you like one, you'll like the other...
