    Mission bow riser sight blockage

When my bow tech set up my bow and I look thru the peep. I can't see the full round sight ring. Part of the circle is hidden by the riser.

Shouldn't the sight be moved out some more so you can see the full round pin guard or is this ok, as long as the pins are centered within the peep?

Edit: I'm reading that this is a common trait for Mathew bows. My old bow was a Bear Instinct and I'm use to seeing the full circle of the pin guard. I guess having it like this is ok.

Do you have the same clearance between the arrow and the riser at both the front and back of it? Does it look like your arrow is skewed to shoot towards the riser? If this is the case, then yes it is probably set up wrong. If it looks like the arrow has the same amount of clearance on both sides, everything is lined up straight between your sight and the string and you shoot bullet holes in paper then you're fine.

Depending on if it bothers you or not, you could always go for a smaller sight circle.

When I look through my peep, I can see more than the sight ring. I just put the top of my sight ring at the top of my peep every time. Not sure if it's the right way, but I shoot consistently with it.

sounds like youre arrow rest is way to fare IN, to me.. the sight pins should be near the center of the string.

Not on every bow. It has been my Experience that Mathews almost always line up inside of centershot. I would go paper tune.

A lot of it also depends on how aggressive the cams on the bow are. Many "speed" bows will actually line up outside of center as compared to the rest.

I wouldn't worry about it. I have shot mine through paper and broadhead tuned; everything is shooting great and I have the same issue with my bow. Not very bad at all and I am so used to it that I dont even notice it. As long as your shooting fine all should be good.

Paper tune is great, but I'm going to double check it. I think it's all good. just not use to the sight picture, but it's ok, I'll adjust. Love the bow.

like you said its prolly ok if its all shooting well. but i would fix it to the point where i could see the whole circle. but im just kinda stingy like that when it comes to my equip.
