Long story as to why I am asking but... What's the maximum draw weight I can get away with using a gold tip entrada ultralight, 400 spine, 27.5" 100 gr head, 346 gr total arrow weight. On an 07 Bowtech Ally, 28.5" draw, kisser, peep, loop & lots of string dampeners with the smooth draw mods. The bow is 60-70#, I'm hoping I don't need to drop it too far down. Thanks
My best guess would be in the 65# area. Try this, take two whole turns out of the limb bolts and see how it tunes. If it is tuning weak, take out more maybe a half turn at a time, if it is tuning stiff add the same.
I just followed this chart and it looks like 67lbs would be your max poundage with your setup. http://www.huntersfriend.com/carbon_arrows/hunting_arrows_spine_chart_by_deflection.htm
