    For sleeping bags, Jen and I have the Marmot Never Summer 0 bags. I believe it weighs like 3lbs 14oz for the XL model that I have. I got the XLong model so that I can put clothes in the bottom to keep the warm for the morning. I've been in this bag a 0 wearing long johns and a beanie and never even got chilled.

    We also have the BA X-static pads and really like them. I'm sure there are better ones, but if you're only using it a couple of times per year... chances are that it will dry rot before you wear it out.

    I use my wife as the control group, if she can stay warm and comfy at 20 degrees, I know I'm good to at least -20 :D

    i use them foam pads and very cheap always works well. REI has good sleeping bags and good prices. Marmot Limelight tent best tent i have used light and it has a full rain fly that covers whole tent with a small walk in area i always put my backpack and boots in that area. Gregory backpack they have the best hip straps and anti slip stuff so it don't side around on back..

    T1 listed on AT also, 550 tyd looks to be in good shape.
