Just shot my new Quad ultra-rest pro series last night and love it. I could really tell how bad my last prong style had gotten. While shooting the felt started to lift slightly. I had a friend at the range watch it while I shot and it was funtioning properly. I just don't think it adheard very well. My question is do you guys always keep the felt on, or do you just use it during the season?

Mine is wrapped with some serving string. Seems to secure my felt just fine. I guess wrapping with dental floss would work just as well. Just wrap with strands about 1/8" to 1/4" apart. I shoot thru mine year 'round.
    Hope this helps. Good luck.

Year round, I change it every once in a while I make sure to clean the prongs with something first.

I'm pretty sure that is what happened when it was installed, dirty prongs. I'll just get some new felt and start over.

I do think the serving string sounds like a good idea to keep it really secure. Thanks for the input guys.

I just use a small piece I cut to fit in between the u of the prongs and no more. I don't worry about any on the prongs themself.
