I just picked up an HDX and have extensively read up on it. I will be using a knot on the down buss cable for timing and hopefully putting up against the riser( no biggie if I can't). And I am hoping that I'll get away with 1/8 nock high but we'll see

I'm wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks? I will be using a Bowtech invasion

What's the brace height of the Invasion?
On my Insanity with a 6" brace height I had to use the tall rest that came with the HDX so the vanes would clear the rest when shot. Just my experience and something to think about if you do have any contact issues.

The two bows that I have set up with QAD's both set up just as the instructions showed.

    Easy and shoot very well.

I always set mine on a braw board. After you get the rest timed, and your tied into the cable serve 1/8 above the cable to make a stopper, it will also give you a point of reference in case you have to re tie.

Yeah I just finished my draw board. I intend to buy a string and then give tuning a try. I heard and keep reading that bowtechs aren't difficult as long as you pay attention
