Is there a way to speed up the dropping of this rest?

It seemed fine with hunting arrows and blazers, but now shooting indoor league with larger diameter arrows and 4 inch vanes, I'm having issues with contact on the cock vane (cock vane down). It just doesn't clear fast enough.

Shooting cock vane up causes major issues as now 2 vanes contact rest, and yes, I have switched to the larger prongs for the largers arrows.

Bob I believe you have to adjust the timing cord that is attached to the buss cable up or down
depending on your needs. I think if you move it up it helps to drop it faster but I am in no way positive. When you do make these adjustments make sure they are very small ones you dont want to break the rest by having to much pull on the rest when slowing it down. Ive had this same issue but with the cheaper QAD rest and had to dump it because it did not have the bounce back prevention. I'm sure Bruce or a few others here can add to this for sure and I will monitor this thread
so I am positive the next time. :-)

UPDATE: http://www.qadinc.com/t-tech-support.aspx I just found this hope it helps.

I have the quad and it's just how you time it with your draw. You want the forks just peeking out as far up as they go just when you get to full draw. This is so right when you let go of your string your rest is starting to fall then and it can get out of the way in time. If you have it topping out half way back your rest is not moving away in time....do you know what I mean???
