Just got this rest to replace my octane full capture deal..which the bristles wore out on after about 400-500 shots, hoping basspro takes it back for full refund when I return it this weekend. ha. Now I gotta say, I was having the same issues that I had read about on reviews for this rest with the vanes hitting the rest, and people would say that their bow was too fast for this rest and it wasnt falling fast enough or it was bouncing after falling, but in my case it was probably just because I just slapped the thing on there and hoped it would work. So this afternoon, I got out the ole bow square, upped my nock to a full 1/4" high, retied my peep and moved my kisser button up and now its clearing just fine. Groups when from 4-5" to 2-3"@20yds and I expect they'll get better once I fully paper tune and adjust my sight. Great rest once installed properly! completely silent, even when I shake the arrow around in the full capture, the felt lining on it keeps it real quiet. Best rest for the money if you ask me.
I shoot a QAD hunter, its a very very solid rest. QAD in general makes great products, i have no complaints.
I would like to renig most of my previous statements on this rest. I have returned it. Was getting fletching contact. Couldnt work out the problem. Switching to NAP Apache...
