Can anyone please tell me the differences between the QAD Ultra Rest HD and the Ultra Rest HDX? Also, what would be the benefit to upgrading to the HDX? Thank you in advance...
HDX has a curved capture bar and is a little cheaper than the HD unless you get red or pink. Other than that I am not sure.
Don't quote me but I think the HDX has a mechanism that does not allow the rest to "bounce" after in drops. You would only be able to see it with a slow motion camera but I believe the idea behind it is to prevent the drop rest from bouncing back up as the arrow is passing over it to prevent it from making contact with your fletching which may deflect your arrow.
You and LungBuster are right. Company says that mechanism makes it quieter. HDX is an Awesome Rest! I have one on each of my bows.
