Ok guys I have noticed that I am getting a flyer 4 inchs right of bullseye every now and then, so when I started checking things out it seems I am haveing a vane hit the right side arm on my QAD rest. I have turned the vanes about every wat possible and still having issues. I am shooting a 101st set at 70# i have a 28 1/2 in draw and shooting CX maximas with blazer vanes and it is shooting 300 FPS with my hunting set up in. I don't see any arrow kick it paper tunes perfectly but I get a flyer every now and then and when I put powder on the rest I see where it is hitting any ideas???? Walt
Walt, Are you using the cable clamp or is this served directly into the cables? The only other thing I can think of after that is an arrow component (nock, bad fletching) or arrow itself.
Bols it was served in but I gave up on it and put my vital bowgear rest back on and got it smoking last night!! I tried my arrows with the blazers and the arrows with the 4 inch vanes and had contact with both. I moved the rest in out and with out having some way to make more spring tention I could not figure out what to do so I changed it out!! Walt
Glad you got things turned around this close to season. Archery can be so simple, yet so difficult at times. It can get quite frustrating. Change a few things and bam, confidence is restored.
No need to bow.... You kill live animals.... I am just the nerd on the playground who thinks he is cool for shooting exploding deer.
