Has anyone tired the QAD Exadus broadhead? I considering giving these or the NAP Spitfires a try this year but was wondering what everyone thought of Exadus. I have to use the barbless version in my state so If you have any input on these I would appreciate it thanks!!

Haven't shot a critter with them yet, however; I bought the full blade version and they were easy to tune for and fly like my field points. Razor sharp right out of the package also.

I use Nap spitfire from my crossbow and they are awesome. But I would prefer the Nap killzones for the compound. If you are pulling back 60lbs or more, I would use them. If you pull less, use the QAD Exodus, or any other fixed blade. NOT MECHANICAL. You wont get the penetration from a lower poundage bow with a mechanical. That's why you should use fixed blade if you pull back about 57lbs or less.

Oh yah, work on those typing skills. Like tired should be tried, Exadus should be Exodus. Hope you get one this year.:)

Sorry about the typo, I was in a hurry to post it up before I had to head out the door. I shoot 61 pounds so I'm not to worried about using a mechanical but I have always preferred fixed blades since they will cut no matter what. I was just wondering what people have experienced with the Exodus as far as tuning, flight, durability, and penetration. As of right now my plane is to use the Spitfire unless something can change my mind. I'm not the best a tuning but I can usually get tuned well enough to shoot most fixed heads. I have looked at the Killzones but I would prefer a 3-blade head. Thanks for the input.

The exodus is a tough head. On archery talk they are liked a lot for sharpness and the toughness. I use the exodus and the viper from slick trick. I didn't shoot anything last year passed on some doe and little bucks. Hoping to try the exodus out this year.

The owner of the pro shop I go to had pack open last week and said they were good, easy to tune, very sharp, and thought the overall design was good. I shoot the spitfires and wont be switching from those....switched to them last year and im glad i did.

Spitfires always worked for me. Would think that exodus would be sweet as well. Going to try killzones or T3s this fall.

Been looking at them a bit more and it seems that they are not offered in a 125 gr. version yet which is a bummer... I prefer 125 gr. so I guess until they offer 125 gr. I wont be using them. 125 gr. Spitfires it is this year! Thanks for the replies guys!
