I've been using that same one for two years now and I love it. It's nice that you can draw your bow back and the arm still stays in position when you let down.
Very easy to set up, durable, and rust resistant(2 years and not a speck of rust on it), but if you keep your gear dry and clean like I try to it's not really an issue.

    I would. definitely suggest it

Don't by the cheaper one as it does not have the bounce back up feature.
During the shot it has a tendency to drop and bounce back up causing vane
clearance issues. If you get a chance check out NAP Scizzor rest after having
the QAD and few other rest this one no doubt gives you all clearence.

Note: If you have a older bow you should be ok.

    Good Luck,
    T

I've been using the QAD going on three years now.

It is a great drop away rest for hunting situations. The fact that it is a drop away and full containment is what drew me to it. It has proven to be very rugged, and I am satisfied with it. Like most things, it isn't perfect, but it is about as good as it gets for a hunting rest. I love mine.

Glad to hear all the good comments, because I ordered 1 to put on my Maxxis 35 which is also on order. Had a NAP quick tune 4000 on my cybertec which got stolen about 6 weeks ago with half of my hunting gear, and worked great also.
