Anyone else have friends get hooked up in these and then try to sucker you in? At least once a year, we have a friend call with some get rich quick idea that they just have to show me. I always humor them and listen to their crap, then tell them I'm not interested. Sure enough, a few months later, they've been burned and no longer peddle the crap. Usually its something along the lines of Amway/Primerica/ etc....I just fail to see the attraction that other do when it comes to such things. Anyone else get hit up for these often? I almost find it comical, but they end up leaving thinking I'm either clueless or a cheap SOB.
I love it when the dumbassee tries to make me feel dumb. We're walking through BPS Sunday, and this kiosk BPS travel guy blindsides us. Asks us if we like to travel....and starts showing us BPS's destinations. We tell him we love traveling, but we usually like to travel to Mexico (in times of lesser social unrest). He says...."well....come back and see me when you wanna stop spending YOUR money on vacations and let BPS pay for them". Does anybody really buy this crap?
