I just bought new easton n-fused arrows this week. don't like the noise they make when drawn across my fall away. the rest is plastic. the old st axis never made a sound. do you think that putting on mole skin will affect the fall away's perfomance/timing?

I would think it might help you pick up a little speed due to friction loss. The plastic on carbon has to have a little more friction that mole skin on carbon.

Yup - do it to all mine. It doesn't wear out either because the arrow really doesn't ride the rest - so it lasts forever!

Yep, I've mole-skinned everything on all my rigs for years... except the riser on my new Invelvet Allegiance. It's so vevelty smooth and quiet I didn't need to put any moleskin on it.

thanks, guys. I'll keep the arrows. Only bummer is that the n-fused arrows I bought came w/4" vanes & I use blazers. So I bought a Zip strip for taking off the vanes, & the damn thing cut right into the arrow.:bash: took out a very minute strip under the vane, but needlessly rendered the arrow useless. I'm going to try acetone to loosen the glue. so now I'm down one arrow, & didn't even get to shoot it.
