Depending on the size of the deer... You may need a bungee cord to strap er down!

I helped a random guy load a good sized 11 point buck into the trunk of his Acura. The head and rack would not fit and it was sticking out the back of the trunk. He just bungee strapped the lid down. I have a pic, It had to be quite a sight on his ride home since he was a city dweller.

How are you going to clean it out when you are done? You might want to buy a dropcloth.

In 1971 I killed my first buck at 8 years old. It was just a little 4 point, but my dad tied it to the hood of his precious 69 Buick Skylark and drove over 80 miles home like that,...lol
It will probably fit but will need some bungee cords like mentioned.

You will not get the whole deer in there, but enough to transport it. Be sure to have a big tarp to catch any blood. Better yet just go old school and tie him to the roof or even across the trunk.

My wife drives a 2004 Taurus SE and we can put her wheelchair and a week of groceries in the trunk. I would think you could put any good size doe in there and most average size bucks. I just wouldn't want to lift it in and out without help or... a hernia truss.

Strap that bad boy to the hood or top of the car. Get a few ratchet straps and voila!, you've got the sweetest hood ornament in MA.

I don't know how you guys do it in MA, but in MI, deer strapped to the top or hoods of cars is pretty common. It'll also get you a few thumbs up while you're driving home.

Blood washes off of paint better than out of carpet. If you're married you don't have to answer questions about bloodstains and hair inside the grocery getter.

I am not sure but I feel like the heat from a hot engine for an extended period of time would have an adverse effect on the meat.

Oh yeah, poor little child might be psychologically damaged by seeing a dead deer. Where the heck do these bleeding hearts think Mickey D's comes from, tofu?
But you're right, we can't offend others.

I live in MA and a few weeks ago a guy drove through my college campus in Lowell with a doe strapped to the top of his corolla haha. I loved it but it sure got a lot of negative feedback from the other people that saw it. Legally you have to have some showing during transport anyway in MA. I'd fit as much as you can and tie down the trunk.

We've put deer in a 93 corolla. Just use a tarp. Good luck!

I'd buy a cooler and quarter it up first. It really doesn't take very long.
