Man, I hope you get that guy this fall :tu:

He blew up, looks to be a two year old in the photo from 2013.

Did you get any pics or see that buck last year? Would love to see them if you did.

On the land I own, I certainly have bucks that are on a "let walk" basis. Those are deer that are young and have great potential. I have had bucks that I passed up for three years in a row and then killed. Believe me, if you give them what they want, they become pretty inclined to stay in relatively small tracts. They will roam during the rut and during the late season at times, but that is a chance I am willing to take. If someone allows you the privilege to hunt on their own private, managed ground and gives you some restrictions, you certainly have the right to decline their offer. I see nothing wrong with that. I cant imagine how that could cause anyone to be annoyed or upset. The results of letting deer walk speak for themselves. At the same time, if I take an elderly, disabled, or young hunter onto my property, I may decide to remove any and all restrictions. That's just me, and I really could not care less about what anyone else wants to do on their property. To each their own. If you cant enjoy my property by my rules, politely decline the offer with no hard feelings.

Yeah he will do. My Dad could have killed him 2 years ago twice. I thought I had pictures of him last year, but them more I looked at them I don't think so. Several pics from 2013 and 2015. He has been seen hunting and from the road several times too over the last couple of years.

Feels like we all need to go to time out in the woods.

I think a lot of it has to do with the land and what type/quality of deer you have on the property.
