Put a camera over the gut pile

    The last deer I got, we decided to put a camera looking at the gut pile just to see our customers at the buffet. Thus fella was there every night starting the second night. [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Just realize all three of these pics were the same day. The yote did come back everyday for a week though.

    I just shoot so the deer die in front of the cameras I already have placed, so I don't need to move anything.

    Yeah, I'm just that good. Not really.


    There is a spot where we dump all that is remaining after processing. I plan on sticking one of my cameras there.

    I've had a buck come up and lick a gut pile from a doe killed earlier that morning, was suprised to see this

    I read an article in Outdoor Life once that said a study done with cameras showed that deer were more often the first visitor of a gut pile and a large portion of them would actually eat part of the pile.
