Purpose of wraps on arrows?

    We use them for looks primarily, but its sure nice to just peel them off when you have a fletching come off. Scraping them stinks. You can find some of the best wraps online at www.arrowrap.com .

    This past season was my first bowhunting. I haven't had an issue with it that I've noticed. The doe I got on 9/21/12 didn't notice them either. :D I can see how if the direct sun was beaming of them and a deer was at the exact angle to see it, it may present a problem, but haven't experienced that yet. I may take the reflective strip off and just use a white strip instead that way I'm certain it won't happen.
