    I tried planting pumpkins out by the food plot damn deer ate the flowers off the plants.

    Yeah they certainly like them. So do I, fried pumpkin blossoms are fantastic.
    I have five acres of pumpkins though in the middle of 55 acres of soybeans and five acres of food plots so they don't have any shortage of food here to keep them occupied.

    It is slang for the favorite season south of the mason dixon line, Halloween where you get to pump kin.:eek2:

    When our kids were young, we paid our taxes every year with the proceeds from 4 acres of pumpkins.


    Kids are gone and taxes are WAY higher now!!!!!!

    One of the best late season food plots there is up north!
