I put the legs in the crock pot and cover in low sodium chicken broth add quartered sweet onion and carrots. I then sprinkle with poultry seasoning and ground pepper. Place on low for 8 hours or until it pulls from bone. Cool remove legs and loose meat then refrigerate broth.. The next day I skim any fat from top of broth then strain . This I use for turkey veggie soup. The legs are cleaned from bone and cartilage pulled a part then cut red roasted peppers your favorite BBQ DRY RUB I use Rendezvous. I just shake some over it and mix well then I cut a favorite BBQ sauce with a bit of soup stock and mix in Simmer this a bit and spoon over bun ,sprinkle with cheese and top with slaw and bun
